application for membership MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS FOR REALTORS® REALTOR® members are active licensees who practice real estate in Oregon or SW Washington. A REALTOR® member receives benefits including discounted registration fees, "Forms on Disk", listing in our annual roster, consideration for our "Annual Dinner & Awards Celebration," a National REALTORS® Database System (NRDS) number, and our publications. In addition, a REALTOR® member receives benefits offered through the National Association of REALTORS® (www.realtor.org/RCA) and either Oregon Association of REALTORS® (or.realtorplace.com/) or Washington Association of REALTORS® (www.warealtor.com/) depending on state in which license is held. Applications
for Membership which are complete and unaltered are subject to CAR Executive
Board review the second Tuesday of the month immediately following receipt.
If membership is approved, a new member packet and additional information
will follow. If membership is denied, dues will be returned in full to Applicant. NOTE: If one commercial REALTOR® member works for a company with other commercial REALTORS®, every commercial REALTOR® and Property Manager must pay Commercial Association of REALTORS® Oregon/SW Washington, National Association of REALTORS®, and Oregon Association of REALTORS® (or Washington Association of REALTORS®) dues. REALTOR® DUES SCHEDULE Dues for 2007 are $364 for REALTOR® members. If you have not already paid National Association of REALTORS® ($94.00) and Oregon Association of REALTORS® ($140) dues, your total amount due for 2007 is $364. Note: If you are in Washington, you do not need to pay the OAR portion of the dues, but will need to pay the Washington Association of REALTORS® $177 for a total of $401 to become an active CAR member. National Association of REALTORS®, Oregon Association of REALTORS®, and Washington Association of REALTORS® dues are pro-rated on a monthly basis. Commercial Association of REALTORS® dues are pro-rated on a quarterly basis. **If you are currently a member of another REALTOR® Association and have paid NAR & OAR dues for 2007, you only need to pay the CAR dues. ***New members who join in November & December will also need to pay 2008 CAR Dues to activate membership due to our invoicing dues cycle. 2008 Primary REALTOR dues are $364. NOTE: If membership is approved, dues are non-refundable and are on an individual basis and are nontransferable. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS FOR AFFILIATES Affiliate (AFF) members are developers, property managers, loan officers, escrow officers, lenders, commercial real estate attorneys, insurers, and other non-REALTOR® commercial real estate professionals. An Affiliate member receives benefits including discounted registration fees, listing in our annual roster, a National REALTORS® Database System (NRDS) number, and our publications. In addition, an Affiliate member receives benefits offered through either the Oregon Association of REALTORS® (or.realtorplace.com/) or Washington Association of REALTORS® (www.warealtor.com/) depending on state in which business is located.
